Situated on the rocky outcrop of the Westcliff Ridge, The Last Glass House pays homage to the mining and industrial vernacular of Johannesburg and offers a new vision of what domestic life could be.

The minimalist, light and transparent glass structure is 5m wide and 42m long, consisting of a single open plan space, containing most of the required functional areas. This space allows the owner creative control over his personal environment - a dwelling for an artist.
