The low-key urban scale intervention consists of a phased repurposing of existing structures and streetspaces, and serves as a catalyst for the creation of an activity node in the precinct. The design is based on simple principles that promote public surveillance and visibility, accessible scale, and the development of a hierarchy of public and semi-public spaces.
